Sports Apparel Design - US Open, Notre Dame, + Ohio State Collections
US OPEN TENNIS PERFORMANCE WEAR
As part of a large rebranding assignment for the U.S. Open Tennis Association, we developed a series of targeted performance wear graphics for their 2008 merchandise collection. The USTA’s project objective was to create a series of clean, simple wordmarks and logofonts to be applied across a broad range of dri-fit shirts and headwear.
MOONLIGHT GRAHAM - NOTRE DAME CAMPUS WEAR COLLECTION
We collaborated with Moonlight Graham, a high-quality manufacturer of vintage-inspired licensed sportswear to create a high-end retro collection of campus wear for Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish fans. The ND merchandise graphics reflects storied traditions and long history of the legendary ND football program from the early days of Knute Rockne and the four horseman, through the current football regime under Head Coach Brian Kelly.
OHIO STATE ORIGINALS COLLECTION
We created a comprehensive merchandise collection for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Our design team drew inspiration from an exhaustive research study of Ohio State’s athletic department archives. We adapted these vintage looks, along with a series of new graphics applied to an assortment of contemporary products. Some of these included the Buckeyes hang tags, labels, graphic applications, color ways and jock tag labels were integrated into a full retail program.
